DIRT 2 A Review
by Welshman - 03/03/10
Or otherwise known as Colin McCrae DIRT2.

Unlike the original CM by Codemasters, DIRT was a major depart from the previous 5 games (Unfortunately it wasn't very good, with a clunky GUI and limited career scope and online play, thankfully they changed all that in DIRT2)

GUI (General User Interface) has been dramatically improved with popular Wheel and game-pad recognition and a much easier to use custom option for both controls and video (Both DX9 and 11) and sound options (It will want to install Rapture 3D speaker software on Your PC to get the best out of the game)

Like in Dirt(Original) the race disciplines have been changed to include not only point to point time trail Rallying but also off-road track racing in Sand Buggies, 4x4's as well as top end Sport/Rally cars

The career Mode has also been given a massive tweak, with You starting out in Your Motor-home with a My Stuff page (Your Stats and achievements), a connection to MP page, and the career map page, where You can choose to Race in 1 of 8 countries (From Utah And LA to China and Morocco) in one of 8 disciplines including an interesting one called Gate Crasher where You rally along a coarse to not only get a good time but must also take out styrofoam gates, every gate You miss will give You a time penalty.

Other events will see You either with a Navigator in traditional Rally style to Trail blazing where You have to keep an eye on the Map while rallying along, the interesting thing about this is that You'll get to catch the car that set off 10 seconds before and try and pass it while still trying to set a good time and stay on the road to all out point to point and circuit racing against 8 other drivers.

Tipping '10
by CFodder - 05/03/10
The NRL is about to start up again, and the AFL shortly after it, so we're gonna kick the tipping off again.

I will be getting the pages setup for it this week and we'll be underway again.

So who wants to knock Ambush off his perch as last year's champ? Please post in the relevant codes forum and we'll get things sorted for this Friday .
